Florida Publishers Association — Rainbow's publisher, Betty Wright, founded The Florida Publishers Association, Inc., a not-for-profit Florida corporation that provides Florida's book community with an opportunity for education and networking. FPA's membership includes publishers, authors, editors, illustrators, librarians, publishing industry vendors and others who are considering active roles in the book publishing business. Betsy Lampe is currently FPA's association executive, and Betty Wright is its treasurer. FPA is an affiliate of AAP (see above), the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA, formerly PMA) and the Small Publishers Association of North America (SPAN), and it is a member of the Florida Library Association (FLA) and the Florida Association for Media in Education (FAME).
